Every file on this page is a full MP3 you can download right now — no form, no email, no licence to sign. If you run a Star Wars podcast, a YouTube channel, a fan film, a stream, a panel or a radio show, these are yours to use for free. All we ask is a credit.
The reason this matters: not one note of John Williams is in any of it. These are our compositions and our recordings, which makes this the rare Star Wars–sounding music that will not get your episode Content ID’d. Ten years, five albums, zero claims. The full terms are on Use Our Music.
The credit
Say the song title and the band name. If your format has show notes or a description, link back. Copy this and swap the title:
Music: "SONG TITLE" by The Han Solo Project — thehansoloproject.com
Want it cut differently?
This is the fastest route and the one we would rather you took. An instrumental to talk over. A thirty-second bumper. A bed that loops under a segment without ending awkwardly. A sting for the top of the show. Ask and we will make it, usually the same day, and we enjoy it more than you would expect.
Grouped so you can find one that matches the episode rather than scrolling fifty titles. Press play to hear it, or use the download link under each player.

Whole albums, and the artwork
Five records: The Force Hits Snooze (2016), The Darth Album (2016), Rage Against the Galactic Empire (2017), Admiral Ackbar’s Lonely Limbs Club Band (2019) and The Han Solo Project (2020). They are on Bandcamp if you want them as albums with the covers attached. The individual files above are the same recordings, so use whichever is less annoying.
Two honest caveats
We can only give away what’s ours. These are our original songs and our recordings. Star Wars itself belongs to Lucasfilm and Disney, and nothing here grants you any rights to their property — including the Williams score, which is not ours and never will be.
Ask before you sell it. Free use covers podcasts, videos, streams, fan projects and events. If you want a song in something commercial — an ad, a product, anything with a media budget — talk to us first. We are not precious about it. We just want to know.
One request
If you use a song, tell us. We will listen to your show. We have been the two guys making Star Wars songs into the void for a long time, and hearing one of them come out of someone else’s speakers is the entire point.
