Yes. You can use our songs. It’s free. Just credit us.

If you run a Star Wars podcast, a YouTube channel, a fan film, a convention panel, a Twitch stream, or a radio show, you have our permission to use The Han Solo Project’s music. You don’t need to email us first. You don’t need to sign anything. There’s no fee.

The credit

Say the song title and the band name, and link back here if your format has show notes or a description. Something like:

Music: “Wookiee’s Cookies” by The Han Solo Project — thehansoloproject.com

That’s the whole deal. Intro music, outro music, bed music under a segment, a full song in an episode — all fine.

Where to get the files

Streaming rips sound bad and confuse platform content matching. Download proper audio from Bandcamp instead, or get in touch and we’ll send you clean files, including instrumental versions if you want to talk over them.

Two honest caveats

We can only give away what’s ours. These are our original songs and our recordings, so those are ours to share. Star Wars itself belongs to Lucasfilm and Disney, and nothing on this page grants you any rights to their property — including John Williams’ score, which is not ours and never will be.

Ask before you sell it. Free use covers podcasts, videos, streams, fan projects, and events. If you want a song in something commercial — an ad, a product, something with a media budget — talk to us first. We’re not precious about it. We just want to know.
